The History of Giuseppe Ferraiuolo’s “La Rocca” Cheese Factory in Sorrento
The history of our cheese factory, all started from a passion for the art of cheesemaking and a love for the tradition. It began in the late 1990s when Giuseppe, son of Nonno Antonino and Letizia (the owners of this property), completed a long apprenticeship and decided to return to his family. He founded the “Giuseppe Ferraiuolo” agricultural farm together with his sister Luisa.
Over the years, the small artisan laboratory has evolved, while maintaining the values of quality and authenticity. Thanks to the family’s commitment, the dairy production has continued to grow, without giving up the manual traditions, with the use of the best primary raw materials.
Today, “La Rocca” cheese factory is a point of reference for those who want to taste genuine products. These include mozzarella, aged caciocavallo and the famous Provolone del Monaco D.O.P. Each cheese tells a story of passion, territory and respect for nature.
Our goal is the same as always: to bring to the table a product of excellence, which contains the taste and tradition of our land.
